澳洲中文翻译协会（CITAA）欣然宣布，协会终身荣誉会长秦潞山教授近日先后获聘广东外语外贸大学翻译博士（DTI）专业学位点行业导师及澳大利亚迪肯大学商学院兼职教授（Adjunct Professor）。这两项聘任，体现了中澳高校对秦教授长期专业实践、学术贡献及行业影响力的高度认可。
秦潞山教授数十年来深耕翻译实践、教育与行业发展，长期活跃于多国政要交流及重要国际会议口译一线，并以卓越的专业成就与社会贡献获授澳大利亚勋位勋章（OAM），堪称澳洲翻译行业的领军人物。作为CITAA终身荣誉会长，他曾推动协会迈向全国化发展，深化中澳翻译行业交流，并在协会成立三十周年之际带领协会开启新的发展篇章。
此次再获中澳高校聘任，既是秦教授个人专业成就的又一体现，也为CITAA所珍视的专业传承与行业影响增添了新的注脚。CITAA谨致以诚挚祝贺，并期待秦教授继续以丰富的实践经验与专业智慧，助力翻译人才培养和行业发展。

Professor Charles Lushan Qin, CITAA Honourary Life President, Further Recognised with Academic Appointments in Australia and China
The Chinese Interpreters and Translators Association of Australia (CITAA) is pleased to announce the recent appointments of its Honorary Life President, Professor Charles Lushan Qin, as an Industry Supervisor for the Doctor of Translation and Interpreting (DTI) program at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (GDUFS), and as an Adjunct Professor at Deakin University’s Faculty of Business and Law.
The appointments recognise Professor Qin’s longstanding contributions to translation practice and education, as well as his influence on the development of the profession in Australia and China.
With decades of experience spanning professional interpreting, translator and interpreter education, and industry development, Professor Qin has worked at the forefront of interpreting for international conferences and engagements involving political leaders from around the world. He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) for his professional achievements and contribution to the community, and is widely regarded as a leading figure in the interpreting and translating profession in Australia.
As CITAA’s Honorary Life President, Professor Qin has played a significant role in the Association’s development, helping expand its reach nationally and strengthen professional links between the Australian and Chinese translation and interpreting circles. He also led the Association through a new phase of development as it marked its 30th anniversary.
CITAA congratulates Professor Qin on these latest appointments. His continued contribution to professional education and industry development reflects the values of excellence, professional leadership and knowledge-sharing that CITAA has championed throughout its history.
